Evan Martin

Evan Martin is an intellectual property attorney with a background in electrical engineering. Evan has worked with hundreds of small businesses, medium sized businesses, and large corporations bringing them from an initial idea, to a granted patent.


Evan's prior work includes preparing provisional and nonprovisional patent applications, responding to Office actions, and analyzing clearance searches, patentability searches, and invalidity positions.


In patent litigation, Evan has experience working with smaller independent inventors to sue large corporations. In AX Wireless LLC v. Dell Inc. (E.D. Tex) the inventors Evan represented ended up recieving millions of dollars in settlements from multiple fortune 500 companies including Dell, Sony, and Samsung.


At the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Evan worked as a patent examiner. This experience included reading patent applications, searching for prior art, and deciding which patents to allow or deny.
